A delightfully quirky original bach providing a sanctuary of peace and tranquillity. We enjoyed a most relaxing two days in perfect weather. A long walk or short drive to the most magnificent underpopulated beach on the Coromandel.

!!!ATTENTION!!!! ~○PLEASE READ B4 YOU ENQUIRE°~ Contacting owner is VIA Phone Call ONLY. Do not book via email as you will not get a reply . Enter enquire above and you will receive an email from Holiday Houses which will give you the number needed to contact Anawin cottage. As a friend of Alexander I am posting on behalf as they do not have internet in the Bay. It is also part of the experience that you contact and BOOK via Phone. Anawin cottage is very isolated from town and a very old way of living. She prefers it that way and you shall know what I'm talking about when you stay with these lovely people. I had stayed at Anawin cottage for 2 nights. The owners are very welcoming and lovely people. It is a true getaway from the usual day to day lifestyle. From the outdoor shower to the peaceful lifestyle, it took me back in time. I thank you very much for the experience and highly recommend to anyone who wishes to experience quality time away from technology and the bog smoke. Kind regards :)

What a fantastic location - a real gem - an old-fashioned kiwi batch like you don't see anymore. The owner was so helpful & accomodating & even gave our kids some carrots to feed the horses :-)
