This slice of paradise has been in our family since 1946. The house overlooks one of the nicest bays in Queen Charlotte Sound. West facing, so lots of sun. Good jetty access and boat mooring. Abundant bird life. Well-maintained extensive walking track behind the house. Sit-on-top kayak provided at no additional charge.

Water access only, so quiet and peaceful. Good beaches nearby. Fishing, sailing, water-skiing, kayaking, diving. Restaurant, cafe, at next bay (15 mins by boat).

Wow what a spot ❤️ Amazing location, close to Waikawa/Picton, stunning views, wonderful swimming, tons of privacy and lovely clean cottage with heaps of space and everything we needed! We absolutely loved our time in Ruakaka, thanks so much! We will be back!!

Thank you so much Ryan family for sharing this treasure. Everything we could need for a great family holiday. Comfy beds, cosy house with back up heaters if needed, full kitchen and pantry, washer, dryer etc. big, sheltered deck for dinners, with fantastic view across the Bay. lovely, extensive walking tracks into the bush, and kayaks for exploring the Bay. Great wildlife - seals, dolphins and shags seen every day and great fun fishing off the jetty and watching the stingrays, this is a well lived in well loved place, we really hope to be back again soon.
