Upstairs - open plan kitchen, dining, living with sliding doors opening out to large sunny deck area complete with BBQ and outdoor table and chairs. Bedroom accommodation for up to 16 guests and includes three bedrooms upstairs, two with King size beds and the third with two sets of bunks. Bathroom and separate toilet upstairs. Downstairs has a large living area with a another 65" TV, a large bunk room sleeping 8 (two queen size bunks and 2 single sets of bunks). Also includes a drying room, separate toilet, shower and laundry. Plenty of off street parking with asphalt driveway, approximately 400 metres to the lake. Handy location approximately 15 minutes drive to Hokitika, close to Wilderness Trail bike ride and Tree Top Walk. Approximately 2 hours drive to Franz Joseph Glacier. Lake Kaniere is a beautiful lake surrounded by native bush with bike trails and walking tracks. Excellent lake for water skiing and boating, water temperature getting up to 24 degrees in the summer some years. Mt Tuhua is a nearby mountain in the Lake Kaniere Scenic Reserve, 1125 mtrs a challenging climb taking 5-7 hours depending on level of fitness. Incredible views on a clear day, you won't be disappointed! Please no parties at the house, be respectful of residents at night as music carries a long way and we don't want to upset the neighbours.
