Had a comfy stay at this Kiwi holiday home. The kitchen is well-equipped, and finding fresh milk in the fridge was a nice touch. The location is relaxing, surrounded by trees, and conveniently close to the marina and town centre. Keep in mind, it's a basic Kiwi batch – don't expect fancy furnishings, but it's clear from the pictures. Cleanliness could be improved, but overall, I had a nice time. Good choice for a simple and authentic Kiwi experience.

Lovely bush setting with birdsong. Nice chance to enjoy a wood burner. Comfortable beds. Good location. Steep stairs from front door to living area/kitchen and 2 of the bedrooms. We found the drive on access a bit tricky.

Stayed for 5 nights with family to explore the Sounds. Great location, walking distance to town and marina, quiet bush setting. Very clean and tidy. Kids grumbled about the lack of dishwasher! No real outdoor dining or living options, which was a shame - but we understand the property is on a slope. The floors and stairs are VERY creaky, making sleeping downstairs tricky if people are still moving around upstairs.
