For those looking for adventure on four legs, we have free secure grazing available for horses just a short distance away. With some of the darkest sky's in New Zealand, Naseby is the ideal place for a spot of star gazing.

The house is just up the road from 2 great pubs that serve food all day, a cafe and the local store that has every thing that you forgot to bring with you and more. The Naseby Forest Recreation Area is only a minute away and the swimming dam is a short walk from the door. We are lucky to have access to some prime dark sky observation spots, within easy walking distance.

Arriving to find the fire lit and the house warm was a great way to start our weekend. Though we were 6 adults we comfortably fitted in the house and all had a great weekend away.

This is a great place to stay in Naseby, easy walking to the general store and pub while still close to the curling area. Great set up with everything we could want. The fire and heaters kept us toasty warm. Julie was very helpful and ensured we had all we needed. The decor is nice, beds comfy and the under floor heating is a nice touch in the kitchen area. We'd like to come back...
