We recently enjoyed our third visit to peaceful Waihakeke Cottage, located on a small farm with a fresh rural outlook.  The cottage is modern, comfortable, very well equipped and provisioned, with special treats such as fresh farm eggs. A lovely welcome included a freshly baked loaf of bread.  With grateful thanks to our cheery hostess Nicole for your generous hospitality.

We were delighted with our stay at Waihakeke, a rural situation on outskirts of Carterton..Our springtime view was of sheep and newborn lambs grazing in the adjacent paddock. The freestanding dwelling is beautifully presented, very well equipped and the pantry generously provisioned, along with fresh farm eggs. Visiting grandchildren happily discovered toys, games and books. Our wonderful hostess, Nicole, welcomed us with freshly baked bread and other delicious baked treats. Grateful thanks for your kindness and hospitality. We will certainly visit again.

Good place to stay close to Carterton. Breakfast provisions provided. Inviting pool in summer months. Easy going hosts and friendly farm dogs.
