About this Holiday House

This beautiful home is a great place to holiday with lots to do for the family. There is a view of the bay and it is only a 30 metre stroll to the beach and the jetty which extends into deep water tide. It is a 1980's era, warm home surrounded by native bush with one very large living area. All bedrooms are double (except the "Hobbit" room, which is a sleepout off the deck with toilet) and heating is provided by a heatpump and wood burner. The serene situation provides the benefits of a sheltered micro-climate, while only a 20 minute drive to Picton. Fish off the end of the jetty, go kayaking around the bays, walk the Queen Charlotte track or Link Pathway. Pets are not allowed due to the prolific wildlife in the Bay - thanks. Not recommended for children under 5 years due to the number of stairs and height of the house.

Great location and a big, well stocked house that works well for two families. We had a fantastic week of swimming, boating and family fun.
Warm big house (heatpump) with great views. Definitely not child friendly with all the stairs to access it, glad I did not put family in there with pre-schoolers. Spa was not on and was then told it was not available and it had been taken off the website. Could definitely do with a bit of a cosmetic makeover re bed covers and pillows in particular.

the hot water had not been turned on. We thought notes saying hot water takes while to come thru was problem. I paid cleaning cost so hope next quest finds it cleaner. dated in my opinion.
