Stacey Brown
A fabulous house for families Pros: location, size, price, privacy, comfy beds, plenty of items in kitchen. Games and puzzles galore. Wonderful communication with owner. Cons: wood construction is noisy as it expands and contract. Paper thin walls. Lighting could be a lot better
Response from Owner
Hi Stacey - thanks for your lovely comments. Yes Lockwood homes do tend to be a bit creaky as the wood expands and contracts in the heat and cold. when we are at the house next we will check the light bulbs and change those that are blown and that should help.
Heike
Amazing house large enough to share between three families. Huge rooms, awesome location close to pools and shops, has everything you need including loads of games and puzzles for kids. Very creaky house so beware if you're a light sleeper. Would def stay again!

Absolutely fantastic house - a little bit creeky and sound can travel if you have people in all the rooms, but in terms of being a lovely place to hang out with your friends and family in Hanmer, I couldn't ask for better. Thank you very much!
Response from Owner
Hi William. Thank you for your comment. The house is a Lockwood home so that is why it creaks at times.
