About this Holiday House

Beautiful & spacious ( 217m2) 2 storey house, located in a quiet neighbourhood on the hill between Whakatane town and Ohope beach. FAMILIES only or mature COUPLES. NO loud parties at this property . Noise must be down from 10pm NY’s ( after 1am ). Fully equipped kitchen. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living area & separate sitting area, wide stairway, 2 decks for outside dining , laundry area, double garage & extra off street parking. Bush and native birds are behind the house as well as kids tree house . Please NOTE, furniture on photos will be slightly different as these are photos of our previous add from few years ago. House is occupied by our lovely tenants till early December. Couches will be brown brown leather and bedding will be slightly different, dining and outdoor furniture will be different too as we have updated the furniture. Ohope Beach - 5min drive (surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, boogie boarding and more). Kids playground - located 50m from the house. Dairy/Bakery & ice cream shop is 2-3 min walk. Reserve area - 50m from the house. Through reserve area you can connect/ walk to town (approx. 15-20 min walk ) . Handy to bush walks: 1.Bird walk - 5 min walk away, starts at White Horse Drive. 2.Coastal walk to Ohope which starts at the Seaview Road, you can access Seaview in 10 min walk through reserve area. 3.Bush walk to Ohope via White Horse Drive (approx. min walk away) Town - approx. 15min walk , through reserve or 25 min walk through Gorge Road . Library -Exhibition Cenre - 20-25min walk. White Island Tours - 15 -20min walk. Whakatane Heads - 20-25 walk. Whakatane Marae - 20min walk. Aquatic Centre-5 min drive & 20 min walk Golf Club Ohope (Ohope Port) -19 min drive. Golf Club Whakatane (Golf Links Road) -16 min drive.

Lovely bush setup and gorgeous view of Kohi Point from kitchen & living area. Outside dining available on 2 separate decks. Native bush and birds behind the house. Tree house in the bush for kids . House is very spacious (217m2) with kitchen , dining , 1x living area, 1x sitting area, 2 decks, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, wide spacious stairway, laundry area, 2 carparks in the garage + extra off street parking. There is spare single bed available on request (for 7th person).

Our family stayed for five nights, had a great time in the area. The rental is a large family home, very clean and well appointed. There is a vege garden you can eat from and sharp knives, great if you are cooks like us. The location suited us, placed on the hill between Whakatane and Ohope, lots of opportunities for cycling, walking, jogging to get you down to the beach for a swim, or only a few minutes in the car. Definitely recommend.

Any noise must be kept down after 10pm ( apart from NY’s 1am).
NO SMOKING, NO PETS at this property.
Exit cleaning fee in total of $80 applies.
Fee for linen hire applies (please enquire).

50% deposit required to secure your dates.
Deposit becomes non refundable 28 days before arrival.
Balance due the latest 14 days before arrival (or ASAP if booking is late).
Full payment becomes non refundable 10 days before arrival.

Admin fee of $100 will apply if you cancel your booking after you received confirmation for & paid your deposit.

Shorter stay might be possible but most likely not in high season.
In high season additional nights after initial 5 nights may qualify for a discount .
Long stays may qualify for a discount.
Specials do not combine or add up together.

Failure to comply with the rules for the Hill Top Retreat will result in potential eviction from the property.
The paying guest/s will be legally responsible themselves for any damage caused by them or their visitors to the property.
