About this Holiday House
Bed and Breakfast accommodation situated at 24 Schooner Bay Road, Tryphena, Trillium Lodge is a 6 bedroom , 3 level luxury Log House.
At this stage we have 4 bedrooms refurbished all with their own en-suite, making the house available for up to 8 people (not suitable for young children).
The house is situated up a shared access road, only 600 metres from Puriri Bay which is safe for swimming, kayaking and fishing and is situated on a 12 acres of regenerating bush, a small avocado orchard and a wonderful huge old pohutakawa tree.
The initial owners of Trillium Lodge used a team of expert builders from Idaho USA to build this impressive Log Home. Caribou Log Homes are still in production today. The design was along the lines of those in Canada, it has wonderful extensive views over Tryphena harbour, the Colville Channel and out to Coromandal. The interior of the property is well appointed to a high standard with antiques and quality bedding and fittings. Your hosts: Lynda Medland-Macalpine Ian Macalpine and Joanne and Glen Findlay.
