About this Holiday House

Grand View Lodge is a modern and very spacious split-level accommodation. Each floor features two double rooms, full kitchen facilities and 3 bathrooms (2 upstairs and 1 downstairs). Kitchen facilities includes full size fridge/freezer, oven, toaster, toaster sandwich and tea and coffee making facilities. The large and comfortable lounge and entertainment area have TV/DVD facilities. The large viewing and dining deck provides stunning views of Muri lagoon. On the mountain side is a barbeque area and space to play or relax in the sun while enjoying the lush private gardens. Within walking distance are several stores, choice of quality restaurants and bars, vehicle rental offices, night market, beach and much more.

If your looking at waking up in the morning to a breath taking scenery this accommodation is for you. Its not only big and spacious with a lot of amenities its also close to a lot of the tourist activities/attractions, an ideal home stay for a family on holiday. Carl was a great host, checking up on us and bringing over some of the local food. This accommodation truly made our trip magical. Thank you Carl & Family.

My 60th birthday celebration was spent with some of my Whanau recently. There was 7 adults and 3 under 5 year olds at Carl and Puas home and it was lovely like a home away from home. They gave us advice and tips and went over and above to make us feel at home with kindness and courtesy. Along with having fun R&R times with my Whanau, we were close to cultural activities, car and bike hireage, prestige beaches with tropical fish snorkeling , night markets with lovely fresh, affordable dinner and puddings etc all close to the gate. We were off the road about 300metres, easy walk or car/bike to all activities, good for the under 5year olds, and the elevated homestead made for a lovely breeze, and what a view! The house maid was very good, and went the extra mile. Very kind, caring, people. Looking forward to going back there. Happy for the choice my daughter made in seeking out this lovely home and hosts. We just had an absolutely magical time at the Grand View Lodge. Carl and Pua made us feel so welcome and the accommodation exceeded our expectations. Everything we needed for a stress free holiday with our large family group was taken care of. Michelle came every day to have a clean also which we weren’t expecting but it was definitely appreciated! There was plenty of space for our little ones to run around inside and outside and when it got hot we went down to the pool for a swim and a bbq. The lodge is close to everything we needed including night markets, pharmacy, lagoon tours, restaurants, cafes, car rentals, clothing and convenience stores etc. we will be back ASAP!
