This is a very spacious 3-bedroom house 2 minutes walk from the beach at Titikaveka. The layout is 3 bedrooms around the edges of the space, with a huge open space in the middle (lounge/kitchen/dining area). The house is tiled, which keeps it nice and cool. The lounge has two massive couches that are perfect for lounging on while reading a book (or six). There is a large flatscreen TV that wasn't working when we were there (well, the TV worked, but the Sky wasn't). The master bedroom is spacious and cool, especially with the aircon on. The large ensuite is great; good water pressure, heaps of space for multiple people to be in there, and sheltered enough to not overheat. Plenty of vanity space too. The master bedroom has a large "wardrobe" alcove that's great for storing suitcases. The two other bedrooms are also large. Plenty of windows everywhere (screened) which means with some smart opening of windows you can create a pleasant internal breeze. Big deck with 4 loungers. No umbrella, which means a bit of manouevring to keep them in the shade at times, though you may like the sun! The kitchen has everything you could need. Powerful gas stove, microwave, sandwich press, toaster and so on. All the utensils for any sort of dish. Heaps of plates, bowls, glasses, pots, and pans. The chef knives could use a good sharpen but that's a small thing! The water is very hot, good for washing dishes. The fridge/freezer is really big, useful for self catering. Theres no big bottled Vaima water so you'll need to boil (on arrival there was UHT milk, 1.5l water, and juice in the fridge though) There's a full size dining table. There is a small bookcase with a few books in it, which we added to on our trip. Windows are fully screened and we saw fewer bugs in the house than we do back in Auckland. No mosquitoes. A few local dogs popped around and we had a friendly ginger cat. Roosters as usual. Location wise - close to Charlies, close to beach. 5-10 minutes walk to Fruits of Rarotonga for better snorkelling. It's a great spot for a quiet holiday. Definitely recommended!

We had 26 people in our group ranging from 1 - 55 years old and booked Tina's house plus the 3 neighbouring houses. Kayne's, Rosian's, and Maunga Retreat. They are all fantastic and have everything you could need. It was so nice to be able to move between the properties and all stay together as a big group. 2 have pools which were in constant use and the trampoline at Tina's was a hit. Jennie who manages the properties was awesome. She covered everything we needed and was lovely to deal with. Great location, great accommodation, can't fault it! Thanks for the good times!

We had a wonderful time staying at Tina's House. This is a lovely, big, comfortable house on the South coast of Rarotonga. It's an ideal location as it is close to the best snorkeling spots on the island and only a short drive from Muri where you'll find tons of cafes, restaurants, and other amenities. The house has a well stocked kitchen and an excellent outdoor area with barbecue. We particularly liked the living area with comfy couches and large TV where we could happily relax after a day out and about around the island. It got pretty hot at night but the pedestal fan provided kept us cool. There are a few mosquitoes and cockroaches around but coils and fly spray are provided, so this was not a problem. The water is heated by gas so plenty of hot water for everyone. We couldn't work out how to use the wifi but there are internet cafes around the island so no big deal. A perfect place to stay for a couple, family, or group of friends, we will definitely be back!
Response from Owner
Thank you Anna, as you know I have passed on your feedback to the owners who work very hard to provide, comfortable, spacious family holiday homes so great to know you had a wonderful stay. I will ensure that the WiFi situation is clear for guests as it is useful to be able to hook in when you're relaxing at home. Thanks again and look forward to having you back, Jen (Experience Rarotonga) :)
