Here it is...a wonderful getaway experience, in Mangakino.... We have 5 bedrooms (includes 2 sleep outs) Can sleep a total of 10. One Bathroom (Toilet in the space) There is a cosy and comfortable living space, separate dining and full kitchen. Also a large covered deck at the rear for full privacy and that all important outdoor entertainment space. We are (almost) fully insulated with a great fire for those cool Waikato Winter evenings. This is an idyllic family spot...fully fenced section for the kids and pets (pets only allowed outside!) Section has enough space for games, a boat and parking. Walking distance to Lake Maraetai and shops. Superb water sports lake...some of the best skiing, rowing, wake boarding and biscuiting and kayaking can be had here. Close to Lake Whakamaru (home of Yogi Bear...movie), also with Te Araroa (Waikato River) walking/trail and cycle tracks on the Waikato River. Mangakino also boasts a fine 9 /18 hole golf course and (in summer) the local school pool offers an alternative for families of kids wanting a splash around...the pool is heated. There is also a couple of places to have a coffee and a nice bite to eat. Where are we?...40 minutes from Taupo, 50 mins to Rotorua, 20 mins to Tokoroa, 1.5 hours to Ruapehu.
