Sawdon Farm Accommodation - three houses: Allanvilla cottage has our staff in for 2022 so closed. 'Allanvilla' is a cute cosy 2 bedroom retro cottage which is perfect for families and couples. This retro cottage can sleep up to 6 - maximum of 4 adults. It has an amazing log burner and a heat pump for the winter and a beautiful sunny deck for the warmer months. Win the Bronze Bookabach award for child-friendly. Rented long term at the moment. Sawdon Old Homestead - Beautiful 100 year old, lovely restored farm homestead, within beautiful grounds. Location is great for two families, or a location for a quiet time away for a couple. Great fire place and heat pump, two bathrooms, four bedrooms, sleeps up to 7 people. Rates of accommodation is $210 for 2 persons(summer) $240 (winter), and $35 each extra adult and $10 per child. Sawdon Shearing Quarters. Sleeps a maximum of six adults and 4 children. Four Bedroomed. Closed for winter months. Linen provided, $180 per 2, and $25 per person each extra adult, and $10 per child. All our houses are on our working farm. Excellent location as very-very close to Lake Tekapo, with a main road at our entrance to our farm. We love to show you around our farm life if you are interested, while you stay. Beautiful crisp summer sheets or winter fluffy sheets, quiet and peaceful other than the baa of a sheep, and the bark of a dog! Excellent night sky on those excellent clear nights. We have a four night minimum for the Christmas and July school holidays for all houses - so we have time to spend with our family. We offer farm tours either feeding our pet sheep, chickens, and pat our dogs or a full farm tour looking at the operations of our farm.
