About this Holiday House

Footprints in the Sand is a modern home with extensive sea views. It is a short walk down to a rocky shore, and along to a sandy beach. Sandy Bay/Mataikona is 5 mins north of Castlepoint(but equidistant from Masterton), with a lovely relaxing ambience. It provides endless hours exploring the rock pools at low tide for the children, and a great deck for adults to enjoy peace and quiet.

We have just spent 2 nights at Footprints in the Sand. loved our stay. The weather wasn't great, but the house was cozy and warm with the fire going. The house very clean had everything we required and more. Great view of the sea and great location. Just a short drive to Castlepoint. Host Dianna very easy to deal with.

The host was great and very helpful for all enquiries. When we had a powercut she was onto it and gave us all the information necessary on what was happening. Great host and would highly recommend Footprints in the Sand.

I don't want to leave a great review because then more people will want this place and will be harder to rent. I know selfish of me. Truth is it's an amazing place, beautiful views from the deck and lying in bed. With everything you need to make your stay the best I definitely recommend Footprints In The Sand.
