Mill House is a two-story Villa built in 1898. This home exudes character and charm. Relax in the privacy of our landscaped garden with a glass of wine or enjoy a barbeque with friends. If you're looking for a conveniently located home away from home close to Gisborne's city hub, this is just the place. Walk across the road to a choice of harbourside restaurants and bars, the Wine Centre and Tatapouri Sports Fishing Club. Stroll across the river for a bit of shopping or wander along the riverside. Enjoy the choice of Gisborne's white sandy surf beaches just a 10 minute walk along the river promenade or get the lay of the land by taking a walk or short drive up Kaiti Hill for panoramic views of Gisborne City and the harbour. A centrally located base for events like R & V, the Gisborne Wine, Food and Music Festival, Summer wineries tour series or the myriad of other sporting and leisure events planned throughout the region. The house is arranged over 2 floors. The ground floor offers a fully equiped kitchen, two ensuite double bedrooms, and large open plan living area. With separate external access, the second floor offers a large master bedroom with 3 double bedrooms, bathroom, lounge and kitchen dining area. Enjoy the flow from the kitchen onto a large deck and down to a private landscaped garden and BBQ area. Feedback from recent guests (from Wellington) - "The Millhouse... was just lovely. Very friendly & welcoming. The bedrooms were gorgeous and the living area spacious and very much a 'home away from home'. i would recommend it". Room configuration: - Downstairs: 2 Queen ensuite rooms. - Upstairs: 1 Queen room, 1 Double room and 2 either super-King or twin single rooms. - 2 Rollaway beds are also available upstairs Please note: when making your booking enquiry please tell us the number of couples and singles in your party so we can configure the rooms accordingly. We are always happy to make an exception if we can, so please do ask, but if this is not possible standard CHECK-IN (3.00pm) & CHECKOUT (10.00am) times will apply.

Fantastic central location. House well appointed with everything you need, lots of space for our group of 8 adults. Owners very easy to deal with and quickly solved our access issue on arrival. Being so central, you do get a lot of road noise - particularly on a Friday and Saturday night, and early morning with trucks going into the port. That's the trade off for the fantastic location. Would highly recommend, look foward to staying again!
