Fully equipped kitchen, fully furnished, TV, CD player, radio. We do not supply linen but duvets, duvet covers, pillows and blankets all supplied with extra supplies available. Please bring, sheets (top and bottom) or sleeping bags, pillow slips, towels, hand towels, tea towels, bath mat. This is a non smoking cottage. The house is also monitored for any manufacture of meth or the drug "P". Pets considered upon approval from house owner. Basic criteria: - dogs vaccinated and registered - not suitable for large dogs - no pets on the furniture - you must vacuum clean thoroughly and wash the floors - the property will be inspected after you leave and additional cleaning required will be at your cost Sleeps a maximum of 6 people. One b/rm with queen bed, the second with a queen bed and a single bunk above. A fold down bed settee in lounge or a roll-away bed is available. Shopping centre and well stocked supermarket is 10 mins drive away. Taupo is a 45 minute drive away. For larger groups an adjacent house is available upon enquiry. Hazards Identified on the Property: After the introduction of the new law introduced regarding hazards and the responsibilities of an employer or landlord, we have an obligation to advise our guests of the following hazards we have identified on our property. I would like to state that nothing on our property has changed and it is far from dangerous. This is simply now a legal requirement. 1. Please take care around the woodpile in case of collapse. This could be fatal. No children to be near the woodpile 2. Take care on the deck. This can be slippery when wet. 3.The guard for the wood burner must be used if you are staying with children. 4. Top Bunk: only to be used for children that you, as parent/guardian, feel are old enough to be safe sleeping there. NB: children falling off top bunks is a significant cause of injury to children in New Zealand. 5. Please use electric blankets with care and unplug before leaving. Please do not sleep with these on. 6. Please supervise children at all times. 7. We have garden sprays, weedkiller and fertilisers in our garage. They are deliberately kept up high away from children but please be aware that they are there. 8. There are tools in the garage, not suitable for children; therefore we advise that the garage is not a safe place for children to play. 9. Please check behind your car to ensure no child is there before backing. Children must be supervised around moving vehicles. 10. There is a child lock for the cupboard under the sink containing household cleaners. Please use this lock if you have small children.
