Nestled in the mountains on lower Shotover River, Amberley Retreat is a modern day slice of alpine paradise. The contemporary home has been carefully crafted to maximise light, space and comfort, and with a single level layout it really is perfect for the whole family. Vacation heaven starts here.
LOCATION:
Amberley Retreat provides the peace and tranquillity of a rural setting that’s also close to ski fields, attractions such as Gibbston Valley (home of bungy) and Arrowtown, shopping and Queenstown’s airport. Heading to the mountain? Amberley puts you close to both Coronet Peak or the Remarkables skifields. You're also well placed to head Wanaka-way for Cardrona ski field and the Snow Farm (cross country skiing). Hiking or biking? Go from the front door! Skippers Canyon and Lake Hayes are also very close. Swimming or sports? Lakes Leisure indoor pool and gym/sports complex is a five-minute drive away. Wine and food? Set off to Gibbston Valley for the day.

Furnished to holiday stay perfection, with a focus on clean, contemporary lines and colour without compromising on ease and comfort, walking into Amberley is a
breath of fresh air. The single- storey design means accessibility is easy for the whole family, with no stairs to worry about.
KITCHEN AND LIVING:
The kitchen and living area is one of the highlights of this home, the open plan layout amplifies the available space and is perfect for socialising with the whole family. Bathed in light and warmth, one can even relax in the afternoon after a busy morning exploring Queenstown by lounging with a book (we recommend Lord of the Rings) in the bay window.
OUTDOORS:
It would be doing a disservice to Amberley to not mention the incredible outdoor space, fit with a BBQ and outdoor dining future, dining alfresco in the courtyard and gazing across to Coronet Peak is the perfect night in. With a vast backyard garden and a trampoline for the kids, there is truly something for everyone.
ENTERTAINMENT:
The lounge is furnished with a large flat screen television and there is unlimited WIFI throughout.
GARAGE AND EXTRAS:
Parking isn’t an issue either, with one garage space plus room for two vehicles off-street. There is also a generous laundry and utilities room, perfect for cleaning off after a long day hiking or on the slopes.

The three bedrooms are all comfortably and beautifully furnished, with the master bedroom being complete with an ensuite and opening up onto a private courtyard.

A copy of the guest’s photo ID (Drivers’ Licence and/or Passport) is required upon finalising of the booking.
