We had a lovely time in this great old house. It has heaps of room and very large bedrooms. It is slightly "quirky" but this just adds to its charms. We were a large group and all our guests commented on the lovely relaxed and "laid back" feel to the house. The garden and large expanse of lawn was a winner with our small children who loved the choice of bikes and the contents of the large toy box. The fire was also a hit, although warm enough not to need it we just had to light it as an open fire is such a treat these days! Thank you to Martin and Heather for maintaining this lovely old home for people to enjoy. Kaye Neumann
Response from Owner
Thank you for taking the trouble to comment. We love having large groups to stay especially for family gatherings and welcome you back at any time. Regards martin
What a truly wonderful piece of heaven 'The Grange' is. We had the unpleasant job of preparing my grandfathers funeral and desperately needed a suitable haven for the migrating family to congregate, all at short notice. We couldn't have asked for more accommodating hosts in Martin and Heather. They were extremely accommodating and compassionate and every aspect regarding the arrangement of our stay was seamless. The communication from the Martins' was outstanding and we were made to feel as though this was our home away from home from beginning to end. The deep history of the house and sprawling gardens evoked a sense of tranquillity amongst all who stayed. Thank you for everything Martin and Heather!

We were happy to help out and the guest group were a delight to deal with. Thanks Martin
A beautiful, peaceful setting with room for many. We stayed with our family - children and grandchildren - of 9 adults and 6 young children for 6 nights. The garden, grounds, and home, were perfect - safe and secure for little ones to play outside, so much room and areas for cricket, bikes, picnics, and barbecues, a lovely verandah to sit and relax under. The kitchen is stocked with all the utensils and gadgets you need, plenty of lovely crockery, large dining table that we could all sit round, cosy fires for cooler days, comfy beds with large rooms for extra mattresses if needed. The home is clean and beautifully decorated in keeping with the history of the home. Martin is a wonderful host, nothing is too much. We loved staying there and could have stayed longer if time had allowed. We will be back if it is available this time next year. Best place we have stayed in!
Response from Owner
My Daughter and I are flattered and humbled by the kind comments and we thank the guests for taking the time to post a report. We take great satisfaction from pleasing families and groups and welcome the pitter patter of small and large feet. Thank you
