Kupe’s Baches are situated at the bottom of the North Island in the Wairarapa region, with 200 acres of bush behind them directly adjacent to the “Aorangi Forest Park”. This dark, pristine Aorangi Forest Park being the core of our “Dark Sky Reserve” Surrounded by Ngaio and Karo trees and overlooking the Kaikouras, Kupe’s Lookout is a hop, skip and a jump from Kupe’s Retreat. It is similar in size to Kupe’s Retreat and offers the same amenities and adventure opportunities.
