We have been most fortunate to discover for ourselves this hidden gem - the Haurata High Country Retreat. It is a unique place with an absolutely stunning scenery, amazing nature features, cosy and very comfortable accommodation, delicious meals and most welcoming and lovely hosts! Doing the day walks available at Haurata was very special - it was like having a Great Walk all to yourself - stunning landscapes and a fun adventure - and you are the only people there - a truly magical experience! Dear Jane and Warwick, thank you so much, we’d loved everything about our stay and can’t wait to come again in February with our friends!

Lovely time spent in Jane and Warwicks retreat. Accomodation is Lovely, clean and well stocked. Great weather did a couple of walks and went for a dip in the swim hole to cool off in the heat. Hot tub a great way to cool down. Thanks for the hospitality we will be back !
