Lovely stay at the cottage would recommend! The little fireplace makes the place nice and warm and the included bacon and eggs for breakfast is a nice touch.

A uniquely attractive period cottage tastefully and understatedly modernised, not overly so and in keeping with the age. Lovely relaxing setting in country-feel property yet a walk to the town and facilities. ie fab cafe. Very comfortable beds, and warming heater and fireplace as needed. Suited us, (although with four of us we could have done with an external loo from the bathroom...,a minor consideration that we strategised for), with our two older grandchildren, very well and we look forward to a return stay in the future. The children loved it there.

This is the fourth time we have stayed at Totara Cottage and we have always enjoyed our stays. A self contained haven with everything a couple could need for an enjoyable stay. Bacon and eggs are left in the fridge for breakfast together with milk and butter, bread and a selection of spreads and cereals. The bed is comfortable and everything is clean and well furnished. Also a lovely area outside where you can sit when the weather is fine. We are looking forward to our next stay. Thank you Margaret.
