Puketi is a new, energy sustainable 2 bdr cottage on the Anawhata Rd overlooking Sir Edmond Hilary's favourite, Whites beach; 50 mins from CBD. It is a private retreat, on a large piece of land, surrounded by beaches and parkland, It is an ideal base for walking, or you can lounge on the deck or in front of the fire enjoying uninterupted views of sea, sky, beach, and bush. A place to rest and relax; TV free.

The cottage is set on a completely private large section with bush paths, and grassy expanse to explore; wild flowers and herbs most seasons. It is a superb base for walking and unwinding, away from neighbours, TV and other 21st century distractions. From the cottage there is a choice of bush, farmland, beach, or stream walks varying from 15 minutes to all day. The best of New Zealand's remote, natural scenery only 50 mins from CBD.

Puketi is on the Edmond Hilary Walkway.

For guests to Auckland we also offer the possibility of Bed and Breakfast accommodation in our large home in Mt Eden, in central Auckland:$150 for singles and $180 a couple.
This is an excellent base for exploring the city, planning further travel, hiring a car, stocking up on travel supplies and sampling a variety of restaurants within short walking distance.

Ashton Rd is a pretty street with trees and traditional styled villas, 10-15 minutes walk from Eden Park
Short walk to dozens of restaurants and cafes; supermarket, parks and bus routes to central city.
10 - 15 minutes bus ride to downtown; harbour and ferries to Devonport and Gulf Islands

Accommodation is available in 2 large double bedrooms; 1 single bedroom.
The double bedrooms are light and spacious with garden views, heaters, desks, built in wardrobes and drawer space.
The single bedroom has all the above but is small and very sunny.
There are 2 shared bathrooms.
