Relax in all day sun on the sheltered and very private back deck. Enjoy a BBQ. Take your evening drink and enjoy the views down the valley to the sea from the top of the section. Inside you’ll find log burner, polished floorboards, a brand new kitchen with great appliances, character inside bath, comfy couches, colourful. Great for kids - big, interesting section, games, sandpit, DVD’s.
Here on Pohara Valley Road you get the best of all world’s. Privacy, peace & quiet, and yet just 2 mins walk to the sea and five mins walk to Pohara store & three great cafes/restaurants. Perfect location to enjoy everything Golden Bay has to offer. Tarakohe Wharf for launching boats or fishing only a few minutes drive away. There are wonderful beaches for exploring, walking, swimming (inc Pohara). Abel Tasman National Park is very close and Takaka township only 10 mins drive.

"We had a great week at your place. The weather was perfect all week so we spent a lot of time on various beaches. The house was great. Loved the location - it felt like you were right out in the bush but was in walking distance of shop and bars. The house was really comfortable and relaxing.
The beds were comfy. We loved the deck and the outside bath - loved lying there in the evening with a glass off wine under the clear blue sky. I don't really have any suggestions it is great.

What a Gem, this place is aptly named.

The cottage is in a stunning, little valley just 2 mins walk from Pohara Beach. At the end of the road is two tennis courts and basketball court. Five mins walk to local store and three quirky cafes/restaurants. Boat ramp is five mins drive. Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks close by as it beautiful Farewell Spit.
