Jacaranda House is a charming & comfortable 100 year old villa set in a lovely sheltered established garden. Living areas, added in the 1970's, are pleasant, open and sunny. Jacaranda is attractively decorated and well appointed with nice linen and china. Enjoy a relaxing stay all year round. In spring, delight in the early flowering cottage garden. In summer, lunch under the large loquat tree in the secluded potager garden. In winter, spend a cosy evening around an open log fire. In all seasons, sample organically homegrown fruit and vegetables with local produce available from the village butcher, baker and greengrocer. A library of books, board games & petanque are available. It is a 5 min stroll to Otaki township and 15 minutes by bicycle to the beach. Other local attractions include historic churches, a golf course,nurseries & market gardens.

We had the most wonderful weekend saying here, its an beautiful house with so much history, it was very comfortable and all our needs were met! I would highly recommend staying here, for a quiet getaway from it all!
