Many rare plants and wildlife can be found in the Catlins rainforest. Good walking tracks lead to picuresque waterfalls and lakes, beaches and wild coastlines. Seals, hooker sea-lions, and the yellow-eyed penguin are just some of the native animals special to this forgotten coast. Hunting, fishing, surfing, boating, and tramping ... it is all here for you.
