After visiting the bush walks eg Waipohatu is a 3 hour circuit track showcasing some of the best native bush and birds in the Catlins and being at the Curio bay watching penguins or exploring the fossil forest etc, finish the evening off if desired at the local cafe or sit in and enjoy the peace and quiet and watch the stars in the moon light
