(A walking track leads to NZ's first commemorative ANZAC Cross at the summit). Mature trees extend from the Station Homestead, reaching the Cottages and beyond - blending the 'farm park' with the broader landscape of circling hills. Hunt Cottage has north facing verandahs and patios, for the views, sun & BBQ's.... and although now "as new", offers lots of 130 yr old character and genuine charm.
Castlepoint Beach is less than 15 min. by car and offers an excellent family choice of ocean beach and a sheltered shallow inlet.
