Our newly built bach is a modern and spacious holiday home situated in beautiful Ligar Bay. The bach is a short stroll to the beach in a very quiet street away from the busy main road.
The house has been designed for two families to holiday together with a large fully-fenced section, four bedrooms and a large open plan living area with expansive north-facing views of the bay.
Ligar Bay beach is one of the most beautiful and safest classic Golden Bay beaches in the Takaka area. Golden sand, sheltered and warm clear water. Ligar Bay is not suitable for motorised water sports either, so your time here is even more peaceful. Either high or low tide provides plenty of fun for adults and kids to swim, kayak, fish, beachcomb, explore rock pools, collect shellfish and most of all - relax.
We believe Ligar Bay is the perfect base to explore Golden Bay, while enjoying the local beach from dawn to dusk.
