Set in the mountains of the central North Island, near Lake Taupo. We sit next to the Tongariro River, the Tauranga-Taupo and the Hinemaiai which are considered as some of the best trout fishing in the world.
Winter Sports
It is just a 40min drive to the mountain for a days skiing, hire shops just round the corner. Every thing is on your door step, Hot Pools after a long day up the mountain to relax those aching muscles.
Summer Sports
Swimming, boating, water-skiing, canoeing and fishing are just a few things that you can take part in on the lake.
There are some amazing walks, including the world famous Tongariro Crossing.
Bungy Jumping, the flying fox, the swing, parachuting, paragliding, and all the extreme sports you could think of.
There is a top Golf course five minuets down the road, which also hosts squash courts.
Horse riding is very popular in the area and has a number of tracks and lessons available.
