Kahurangi Outpost is a private accommodation lodge in a remote corner of Kahurangi National Park in Golden bay. The native bird life is prolific in the surrounding bush clad hills. Listen for the dawn chorus and the deep booming of the native bittern from the Mangarakau Wetland Reserve. This venue is particularly suitable for large family groups, groups of friends, educational groups, tramping clubs, photographic clubs, sports and hobby groups, bird watchers,4WD groups or conferences in a unique and beautiful environment. There are numerous walks through farmland, native bush, coastal land and around and over bluff headlands.
