This beach cottage is fully furnished, comfortable and just ten minutes drive from Collingwood. Walk across the lawn, down the concrete path between the retaining rocks and you can walk on the sand, or dive into the sea at high tide. The beach is very safe. Surrounding trees provide privacy. Gather pipi/cockles or play in the shallows at low tide. Listen to the tuis and wake up to the dawn chorus. The cottage contains a fridge-freezer, full electric stove, tv, microwave, washing machine, crockery, cutlery, etc. Totara Cottage is centrally located to enjoy Farewell Spit, Kahurangi National Park, Westhaven Inlet, Horse treking at Puponga, Rockville Limestone caves, Pupu Freshwater Springs and many other places of interest and entertainment. Enjoy the cuisine (and live music) at the Mussel Inn, Paddle crab kitchen, Courthouse Cafe and the Naked Possum bush cafe.
