Perfect place to stay for events like Taupo Ironman and the Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge. Safe for children. There is a 32 inch LCD television with Bluray DVD player and Freeview TV. All linen and towels are provided.

Offpeak: 1 or 2 nights - $70 per night for 2 plus $10 each extra person (max total 4 persons)
Offpeak: 3 nights or more - $60 per night for 2 plus $10 each extra person (max total 4 persons)
Onpeak: 1 or 2 nights - $90 per night for 2 plus $15 each exra person (max total 4 persons)
Onpeak: 3 nights or more $80 per night for 2 plus $15 each extra person (max total 4 persons)
Peak times include Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge weekend, Ironman weekend, Public Holiday long weekends, School Holidays, 24th December to 15th January.

The cottage is cosy and comfortable with plenty of thoughtful touches throughout. We really enjoyed staying the one night we did and would've been happy to stay longer. Thanks Trevor and Gail, we will be back.

Nearby attractions & activities
250 metres to the shore of Lake Taupo with the world famous Waitahanui River "Picket fence" 300-400 metres away. Taupo township is 10 minutes drive with Rotorua, Mount Ruapehu and the Chateau approximately 1 hours drive. This is a great location to base yourself for activities around the Great Lake including the Tongariro Crossing, Skydiving, Mountain Biking and Hiking. The Waitomo Caves are approximately 1 1/2 hours drive. There are also hotpools, golfcourses and car and motorcycle racetracks nearby.
