Private treed setting for this recently renovated & architectually designed hoiday home, featuring three bedrooms (2 with king-sized beds)and two bathrooms, plus addtional double-bedding in a private alcove.
Very comfortably furnished (it's our home away from home so no lumpy beds or sofas here!) and fully equipped.
Great lake views from the upstairs balcony, as well as a wide lake outlook from the downstairs verandah / BBQ area. Stable doors in the living area provide great indoor-outdoor flow. The section is fully-fenced (a relative rarity!) and provides safe play areas for the kids. There is off-street parking for a boat and a couple of vehicles.
A tennis and petanque court are a short walk away, with a park across the road. There is a great cafe 10 minutes walk or a short drive near the Motuoapa marina.
Motuoapa is well positioned for everything that the Taupo district has to offer. Easy access to fishing (boat ramp at the marina for the lake and a few minutes drive to the Tongariro, Tauranga-Taupo & other great rivers),water-sports (ditto the marina) and lake beaches. It's 25 minutes to the bright lights of Taupo and 40 minutes or so to National Park and the slopes at Mt Ruapehu.

Park just across the road with childern's area and 5 minutes walk to tennis and petanque court. 10 mins walk to marina and great cafe - less time if you are taking a boat to the ramp! Tongariro River and shopping at Turangi is 10 - 15 minutes by car and the same to hotpools at Tokaanu. Access to the Tauranga-Taupo River is also just a few minutes drive. Taupo is 25 minutes away with the slopes at Mt Ruapehu about a 40 min drive.
