Nestled in the foothills of the Kahurangi Nat'l Park and centrally located in beautiful Golden Bay, this private holiday accomdation offers the novelty and peacefulness you want from a holiday experience. Enjoy the enchanting sounds of birdsong, the wind blowing gently thru the Rimu and Eucalyptus trees, or your favourite music playing on a top notch stereo sound system. An outdoor bushbath under a starry sky or how about an easy walk to the world renowned Mussel Inn, famous for it's boutique beers, delicious meals and live music. Two kilometres or an easy three minute drive to the delightful Onekaka Beach.
The Laidback Lodge consists of three components: The main cottage has the kitchen, living and dining areas..as well as a king size bed. It's fully lined,insulated and stylishly decorated. It also gets the sun all day all year round. The "Kiwi Caravan" is a classic 50's style which has been converted to a cozy bedroom with a double bed. It's under cover, very funky, and attached to the deck. "The Bunkhouse" is just big enough for a bunkbed and the kids will love it...it's sort of like "camping out" in the yard! There is also a large grassy area for games or tents. Every structure has a TDC building permit.
The Lodge is ideal for that romantic getaway, the shared holiday with friends, or a rambunctious family vacation!
