ABOUT THE HOUSE

Outdoor living is easy with two enclosed courtyards.

The larger family courtyard features a sheltered patio garden area with an outdoor setting well placed for catching cool breezes in summer or the morning sun in winter. Opening out from the main living room, this courtyard is an ideal play area for kids and adults alike.

Perfect for alfresco dining, you can make use of the barbeque provided while the kids amuse themselves on the lawn. Or you can all get involved in a game of boules, also supplied, while the sausages are sizzling away.

Enclosed by a high brick wall for privacy and pet friendliness, you could easily store your boat or caravan on the large paved section here.

The private Mediterranean style courtyard has a more intimate feel. This special spot has a two piece café setting for dreamy cocktails, lounging furniture, a small lawn, palms and lots of green leafy pot plants.

Wonderful for catching up on your tan, socialising or simply relaxing in peace.

THE SPA

Everyone who stays at the Beach House loves the spa!

Easily seating five, the heated spa is tucked away in its own corner off the private courtyard.

Place your drinks in the floating spa bar, turn on the bubbles, relax and have fun.

LIVING AREAS

The main living area features a very comfy leather lounge suite and up to date TV and DVD with surround sound so you can enjoy watching the latest movies in your home away from home. The overhead fan will keep you cool in summer while the gas heater will keep you toasty in winter.

There is also a stylish dining table setting for civilized dining.

The compact kitchen in this open plan layout is separated by a 1970s breakfast bar and Bali style stools. This is a great place for casual meals, cups of coffee or conversations.

You’ll find everything you need for home cooking, making catering easy.

For starters you’ll find the following

Four burner gas stove with oven and griller
Combined fridge and freezer
Microwave
Pots, pans and cooking utensils
Crockery, cutlery, coffee cups and glasses
Kettle and toaster
All you need to bring is the food.

The smaller formal lounge room features a traditional lounge suite, polished wood floors, a sound system and another gas heater. There is a small selection of books and magazines. Airy and spacious, the sun pours in through the large bay windows, making this the ideal nook for escaping the kid's hijinks or simply relaxing.

There’s a basic laundry equipped with a washing machine, iron and ironing board so you won’t need to spend your time and money at the laundromat. The clothes line is in the family courtyard.

THE BEDROOMS

Elegant and light in cream and brocade with burgundy accents, the master bedroom opens on to the private courtyard. The feel of this room is romantic and dreamy. You’ll be delighted with the comfortable queen-size bed, overhead fan, sea grass privacy screen and ensuite with glass enclosed shower and full size bath.

The second double bedroom features another queen size bed and has a semi ensuite bathroom, also with a bath and shower. Browns, creams and olives set the tone here.

There is a single room with a desk and chair. A large photo of a lonely yacht in a pink sunset at Denham in WA’s Shark Bay sets the theme.

Finally, the fourth room features a double bunk bed. We all know how much kids love bunk beds!

There is also a folding bed available providing more sleeping options.

All doonas, pillows, linen, towels, bath mats, hand towels and face washers are provided. Each room has a fan to keep you cool on hot summer nights and there are plenty of heaters to ensure you’re cosy when the chill sets in.

Minutes from the beach, easy to find
The Beach House is only three streets from the beautiful Shoalwater Bay Beach.

It’s easy to find. Follow the Kwinana Freeway south as far as you can and the freeway actually becomes Safety Bay Road. Turn left 17 kilometres later and you’re on Shoalwater Road.

There is paved off street parking for two cars, a double lock up garage and a single car port.

What more could you want for your perfect stay?

Imagine picnics on the beach while you watch the sun set over Seal Island and Shag Rock, swimming with wild dolphins, meeting the world's smallest penguins on Penguin Island, snorkeling in the world famous Shoalwater Islands Marine Park or simply lazing around in the spa in your own private courtyard.
