Welcome to Ahipara Surf Lodge.
Ahipara is located at the southern end of 90 Mile Beach on the west coast of Northland New Zealand. The climate is subtropical, the sunsets are stunning and it is home to one of the best left hand surf breaks in New Zealand.
Our beachfront lodge has an amazing homely feel. It is surrounded by palm trees with a beautiful garden and offers stunning views. The sunsets are spectacular so make sure you bring your camera!
The lodge can accommodate up to 13 people at any given time, with our triple share bunk rooms, a twin room, and a beachfront double room with en-suite. The lodge consists of 5 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, 2 lounges, BBQ area and plenty of off-street parking for the boat and vehicles. We also have wireless internet (free of charge), a pool table, foosball and table tennis.
In front of the lodge is a very good consistent beach break which offers great learning and long boarding waves. We also have great views of Shipwreck Bay and the long left hand points that Ahipara is famous for. Walk out the front door and go surfing, jump in the water for a swim, walk along the beach, play golf, go fishing, head up to Cape Reinga (on a tour or self drive), try out sand-boarding or take a quad bike tour. There is something for everyone in Ahipara so come and enjoy the playground of the North!
TV: The Ahipara region cannot get freeview so the TV reception is a bit fuzzy. There is a SKY dish on the roof of the house so please BYO your own SKY TV decoder and card. Remote and cables are at the house.
