Relax and watch the tides come and go and gather cockles for dinner at low tide. Excellent location for tramping, kayaking (2 kayaks in garage across from beach), swimming, mountain biking, horse trekking, exploring Farewell Spit and famous Wharariki Beach. The Farewell Spit Cafe and Information Centre is a 10-minute walk away. This is a photographer's and birdlover's paradise. The Farewell Spit Tours will pick you up at our gate. For larger groups there is also a cabin (sleeps up to 5 people)situated within the gardens of the property. Please enquire re. details and rate.
