Our large architectually designed home is set in 1/2 an acre of private, nicely landscaped grounds ,and is a 2 mins timed walk to a lovely sandy safe swimming beach.
Ngakuta bay is situated 15 mins drive from Picton in the prime area of Queen Charlotte sound.
The property has a large flat lawn surrounded by a private landscaped gardern, and is fully fenced.
The 3 living areas all open out to attractive decks [at ground level] and a lush courtyard BBQ area offering many places to sit and relax.
* For indoor entertainment we have 2 widescreen TVs, sky digital 40+ MULTI ROOM including sky sports 1,2,and 3[ So there is no need to argue with the children over the channels!!], DVD player & stereo.
* Table tennis and a selection of childrens books and toys in the spacious playroom.
* A 14ft round trampoline with pads provides extra entertainment for the children.
Ngakuta bay is renowned for its pictureque scenery.This area has won NZ tourism awards and international recognition for its beauty which makes kayaking and boating in this area a unique experience.
* We have 2 kayaks available with life jackets for our guests use.
The bay has an excellant boat ramp and jetty, ski lane and a large grass reserve.
Fish such as
Tarakihi,gurnard,kawhawai, and spotties have all been caught from the jetty.Scollops collected in season close by.
The start of the wine trail is a short 30 mins drive away, the Queen Charlotte track 12 mins,Horse treking 10 mins.
Our property has plently of off street parking for boats and cars.
We are flexible with the bedroom set up eg superking bed in bedroom 2 can be split into 2 singles if this is required, also bedroom 4 singles can be put together to make a 3rd double if guests wish.
* A mooring may be available on request.
Many large groups have commented on how spacious the house and grounds are making this property a popular spot.
* We have 2 large fridge/freezers ideal for stocking up for your holiday.

Early booking for the months of Nov to Apirl and school holidays is recommended as we get heavily booked well in advance.
