CARINYA AT THE SPRINGS is located 1.5 hrs north of Christchurch. Our home is located right in the middle of the township & is a 3 min. flat walk & is 1 of the closest holiday homes to the THERMAL SPRINGS & TOWN CENTRE. CARINYA is set on a elevated block overlooking Hanmer valley to the south and Conical Hill to the north, all of which capture views of the wonderful snow capped mountains. In winter months, open a bottle of wine from one of our local wineries, and either sit in front of the open fire or relax in the huge 2 person spa & enjoy the warmth & ambience CARINYA has to offer. In the summer months all external doors (lounge/dining/main bedroom) fold back providing a wonderful open feeling with flow through ventilation. Enjoy a BBQ and alfresco dining under the shade of the beautiful trees or at night under a wonderous sky full of stars. Walk 10 mins, through a nature walkway & arrive at Hanmer Springs 18 hole Golf Course. This course is quite challenging & is amidst beautiful landscaped gardens & scenery. Hanmer offers extreme sports like jet boating etc or relaxing activities like bush walking or lazing in the mineral springs etc. We have 3 newly renovated bathrooms with 3 toilets & a huge 2-3 person spa bath. Entertainment wise we have 3 TV's 1 being a wide screen LCD TV and a surround sound system. We have SKY TV connected with sports & movie channels available.
