We fully understand that you want your holiday home to be as perfect as possible when you arrive.
To achieve this for your party, and for the party that follows, we have developed this policy in discussion with previous guests and consideration of industry guidelines.
We always provide a ‘Linen and Cleaning’ service for stays of four nights or more. This includes: house preparation; bed, bathroom and kitchen linen; cleaning and rubbish removal. This service ensures your holiday home meets our high standards when you arrive.
If you book for three nights or less, your stay will automatically be a ‘Bring Your Own Linen and Self Clean’ booking and this will, of course, be less expensive. This often suits guests who book weekend or long weekend stays. However it means you must ensure the holiday home meets our high standards at the end of your stay. A thorough check is made after your party’s departure to ensure the party after you are also delighted with the house when they arrive. If our cleaner finds the house is not up to our high standard they will attempt to rectify the situation quickly and efficiently. However if the deficiency cannot be quickly remedied, they will carry out remedial house preparation, cleaning and rubbish removal. We reserve the right to pass on the cleaner’s charge to the person responsible for the booking.
Of course we are very happy to offer the ‘Linen and Cleaning’ service at a competitive price. This may suit you if you prefer not to worry about the chores at the end of your shorter stay. Please enquire with your initial ‘three night or less’ booking request.

The house is designed to allow people to enjoy the warmth of each other's company, or to enjoy their own privacy as desired. The garden room has wide opening sliders to the outdoor entertaining area. A fully equipped kitchen is integrated with a breakfast bar. The lounge is furnished with comfortable leather sofas and a coffee table. A large dining table, seating eight adults, is equally suitable for business meetings or children’s board games.
Sleeping quarters consist of four bedrooms for nine adults/children. There are two luxury pillow top queen sized beds, two bunk beds and a one pillow top single bed. An infant’s cot is provided in the large walk-in wardrobe/nursery/overflow bedroom adjacent to the master bedroom. A laundry with automatic washing machine and dryer are also provided.

The house can be set up to suit your needs; a long relaxing summer holiday, a quick get-away from town, a central location to prepare for your big wedding day, or a cost-effective venue for your business needs.

The house is privately owned by Paul and Andrea Donovan. Paul manages the bookings and has developed a team of people to ensure the house is prepared to your satisfaction. We treat your requirements seriously to ensure you have a hassle free, comfortable and successful stay.
OMAHA AND MATAKANA VALLEY
The area is noted for its beauty, its beaches, its fine dining and fun holiday making experiences. The area is very close to Auckland and New Zealand’s main airport. It also sits in a perfect location to explore the north of the North Island.
THE BEACH
Omaha's expansive beach is never crowded, even at the height of summer. The surf lifesaving club is 200m along the beach and is patrolled by New Zealand’s famous Surf Lifesaving organisation. The sand and the clarity of the water are top rate and the views over Little Barrier Island and the famous Hauraki Gulf are simply gorgeous.
