Special Amenities

Sited on the edge of a reserve, and in an established area of the Castle Hill Village, Torlesse Lodge has great mountain and forest views from the main lounge, outdoor areas, and bedrooms. There are two bedrooms with queen beds (one upstairs, one downstairs), and two upstairs bedrooms with two single bunkbeds in each. A second living area/bedroom downstairs (a great area for kids) has a double fold-out sofa bed and two single bunks with a TV and sound system. The top bunk beds have foam mattresses and are more suitable for children. All beds have down duvets and, for the warmer months, there are lighter bed covers. Two bathrooms, both with shower & toilet (one upstairs, one downstairs). There is a fully equipped open plan kitchen area, leading into the warm and cosy open plan living area with log burner & double glazing and a heat venting system to the upstairs bedrooms. Also, a drying room to sort out those ski boots and damp clothes. Attractive private outdoor area with outdoor furniture and gas barbeque. TV/DVD in both living areas (TV with Sky digital with your own decoder). Tennis court & petanque area in the village, along with a rustic 9 hole golf course, and good tracks for walking, running, and mountain biking.
