The house is a stunning 2 1/2 hour drive from Auckland up the Coromandel Peninsula or a 2 hour ride on the Discovery 360 ferry from Auckland. The Town of Coromandel is the jewel of one of New Zealand’s most prized and stunning regions, lush green surrounded by water——the South Pacific on one side and Hauraki Bay on the other.
This is a cosy house in an upscale Coromandel neighborhood with a stunning garden on one acre hidden from view of distant neighbors on the attractive golf course road. A three minute walk to the golf course, the house has two bedrooms with queen size beds, a separate dining room, a complete kitchen, and a large den with a Sony 32" LCD sky TV and a home theater system. The master bedroom has an apple computer with Telecom Broadband Internet access. Amenities also include telephone, LPG heating, Mitsubishi dehumidifier, LPG stove and imported Tempurpedic mattress on the master bed. There is a bookshelf of books and over thirty DVDs to look at. There is a separate shed with washer and dryer. Bathroom has tub and state of the art high pressure shower. And there is a nice outside patio with a barbecue.
Ample parking in the rear can accommodate boats.
All the furniture and amenities are brand new in this well made country house. The owner, an author, is concerned that visitors take care of the house by not smoking and cleaning up. Note, he is in the house from mid February to mid March.
