In a large English-style garden full of trees, you can then go down into the fields for a walk or a picnic and feel you are in the middle of nowhere. Country walks, quiet flat sealed roads. Half hour walk to town with its cafes and shopping or five minutes by car. Very noisy birds. Very friendly schmoozy cat if you want his company. Ten minutes to Martinborough vineyards or half hour to the coast at Lake Ferry and Palliser Lighthouse and seal colony. Close to new Greytown rail trail for walkers or bikers.
