A group of 8 of us stayed here for 2 nights during September 2017 - we absolutely loved our stay! The accommodation is beautiful and well equipped for 8 people, Margaret was lovely and provided beautiful home baking upon our arrival and departure! fabulous setting fantastic hosts we stayed during world cup for 3 weeks , trevor & margaret went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, including a typical kiwi roast one sunday before we set off to the game,as well as home made cakes etc . trevor arranged our rental for us and pointed out the best way to get to and from eden park,highly recommended we will be back luke, allan, wishart south africa

We stayed at Kaurilands during the rugby world cup. The accomodation at Kaurilands is first rate. The two bedroom detached unit has all mod cons with a large open plan living area and our hosts Trevor and Margaret couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming. Margaret's cakes are a delight and we spent a very enjoyable post match evening celebrating the All Blacks quarter final win. I can thoroughly recommend Kaurilands as a base in Auckland. Titirangi and the western bays have much to offer and downtown Auckland is just 15 to 20 minutes away. On a final note, during the world cup most Auckland hotels, motels and holiday lets increased their prices - some more than doubled, but Trevor stuck to his normal rates. As frequent visitors to NZ [Son works and lives in Auckland], we will definitely return to Kaurilands.
