The cozy holiday home contains three bedrooms, one bathroom and an open kitchen/dining /living area opening on to a spacious deck. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, television, vcr, dvd player, stereo, bbq, and even a private mooring. Two bedrooms contain queen size beds (one room has a baby’s crib), and the other a double bed and bunks. With the foldout sofa it can easily sleep 8 guests. It is a 400 meter walk to the jetty at Tirimoana and a ten minute walk to Anikiwa and the start of the Queen Charlotte track. The sheltered beaches and bays of the area are ideal for swimming and are home to many fish, sea birds, dolphins and world famous sounds scallops. It’s a five minute drive to the nearest garage/dairy and the ‘Country Inn’ with pub meals and off sales. Enjoy the tranquility or explore the nearby towns of Havelock (15 mins.), Picton (30 mins), Blenheim’s vineyards (40 mins) and Nelson (75 mins).
The place is set up for year-round enjoyment. It's a haven in the summer and a well insulated sun trap for all of the beautiful winters days in the Sounds.
