About this Holiday House

Located in the Kohikiko Subdivision at Pohara Beach (across the road and down the street from Pohara Top 10 Holiday Park.) Positioned off the street down a private right of way and only one direct neighbour (at present.) A beaut rural location, nice and sheltered, with sun from early morning til late in the evening and very handy to the beach, general store, cafes, harbour and golf course. Just ten minutes drive from Takaka Township. Everything you need here for an amazing holiday at the beach.

Special Amenities

Loads of parking for cars & boat. Attractive compact design and tasteful décor. Outdoor shower, outdoor bath, huge deck, fish cleaning bench. H.R.V. system, built in wardrobes. Nice rural outlook and sheltered from prevailing winds. Recent addition of Heat pump (hot and cold), Porta-cot available (not linen) and high chair also available upon enquiry. Wifi now included.

Very short walk across the road, through holiday park and onto the beach. Cafes and general store, takeaways a short walk away. Ten minutes drive from Takaka Township. Note, weekly bookings preferred in peak of season ie, Dec/Jan/Feb.

We loved our stay at ‘Koko’ - the house was immaculately clean when we arrived, the beds made up beautifully and a thoughtful welcome package on the bench. We appreciated the air-conditioning in the evening after a hot day with sun streaming into the house. The house provided everything we might need and the beds were very comfortable. I would return every summer, if I could!!

Blown away by the cleanliness and overall experience staying in your beautiful holiday home on Kohikiko, prime location next to Pohara Beach, beautiful restaurants, top 10 holiday park. Couldn't recommend this stunning spot enough to all looking for a convenient, clean, beautiful holiday home in Golden Bay. Had everything we needed for a comfortable relaxing get away at the beach. Will be back!

Koko on the Beach -absolutely perfect. Immaculate with everything in top class order. Very handy to the safe beach for youngsters. Our grandchildren loved it & the surfboard shower plus the deep relaxing outdoor bath. Tranquil rural outlook with lots of chatter from the numerous weka & pukekos. The owners were excellent to deal with..nothing was a bother. San Souci an excellent evening restaurant a short stroll away. A very peaceful quiet area even in the busy Christmas/New Year season. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here & we will certainly be back.
