Dry sunny inland climate. Handy to newly developing Waitaki Valley wine growing region, Waitaki and Hakataramea Rivers and Lakes Benmore, Aviemore and Waitaki - fishing, swimming, boating. Excellent region for cycling, walking, swimming, golfing and picnicking - or just relaxing in the sun.
