The Lagoon Beach House is set right on the waterfront and is a very comfortable house with three bedrooms. The main bedroom with ensuite hosts beautiful water views, the second room also with water views has a queen sized bed and the third a set of bespoke built in bunks. There is a main bathroom, separate laundry and a galley style kitchen with plenty of bench space, a large oven and a double dish draw dishwasher. The lounge dining area opens out to a deck which faces the water and has an outdoor seating area with a weber barbecue and a comfortable couch for lounging on in the sun. Then a quick stroll across the front lawn to the water for a swim and then back to the hot outdoor shower to rinse off. The Lagoon House is in the gated community of Tapuaetahi so only the residents have access to this special place and means the beach is not overly populated. Enjoy our private piece of paradise. Some of the things we enjoy about being at Lagoon house... an early morning stroll along the white sandy beach, taking an adventure around to Boulder Bay at low tide, alfresco dining all day long, swimming, diving, boogie boarding and kayaking in the pristine blue waters of Tapuaetahi beach (very safe swimming beach for children), taking a picnic at low tide to the ocean lagoon where our children snorkel, or taking them to play in the warm pools left by the changing tide. Tapuaetahi is one of Northland's most beautiful beaches and some would say the best fishing spot. Plus for those who enjoy surfing, a walk to Elliots Beach is an awesome adventure. We also enjoy the local village of Kerikeri, 20 minutes away, where all your supplies and boutique shopping is, including the Sunday morning farmers market where you can pick up high quality local cheese, bread, coffee and vegetables. Kerikeri has a movie theatre, day spas, restaurants, vineyards etc...with the Bay of Islands only another 20 minutes drive from Kerikeri township. Please note maximum 6 Guests.
