Large clearings and streams (some trout) amongst native bush. 30kms of tracks for MTB riding, tramping or hunting with our internationally experienced guides. We only allow one group at a time.
Guided hunting rates are NZ$325 for one hunter, one guide, $225 each for two hunters, $185 each for 3 hunters or $165 each for 4 hunters.
This includes 2 guided hunts per day, food and accommodation in the lodge. If you want to provide your own food please deduct $15 per person off these rates. Current animal charge on this block is flat $20 rate for management hunts (yearlings and spikers) and a $20 point fee for the roar, which is quite probably the cheapest point fee around as all our deer are genuine feral animals, not purchased from a trophy deer farm and on-sold to you.
Training a young dog? We have guides with dogs including holders and bail-only.
Non hunters rates are $55 per person per night. A non hunter is classed as a person who does not accompany the guide/s and remains in close proximity to the lodge eg reading/sunbathing/swimming/fishing in the river.

Hunters Lodge offers awesome veiws of big hill country and native wood pigeons diving and flying past the door.30km network of hunting, tramping/MTB tracks.Good swimming river to cool off in summer, located 40 mins drive from the famous Motu River where good trout fishing can be found.
